Each learner is unique, and the integration of neurodevelopmental and emotional struggles can make it challenging to identify how learners can access an appropriate education. For some learners this involves reducing problem behaviors; for others it involves addressing emotional challenges. Other learners may have complex learning struggles, and some learners have all of the above.
Educational consultations integrate school observation, staff interview, office-based learning consultation, and functional behavioral assessment to inform recommendations for the types of services and environments necessary to educate a learner.
