Katherin “Katy” Rockefeller, MD

Child, Adolescent, & Adult Psychiatrist
Dr. Rockefeller is double-board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and provides evidence-based psychopharmacological evaluations at Boston Child Study Center – Maine.
Dr. Rockefeller earned her medical degree and completed psychiatric residency at the University of Michigan. A graduate of Bowdoin College, she was happy to return to Maine for a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Maine Medical Center in 2015. Throughout her training, Dr. Rockefeller researched, published, and presented on various topics in psychopharmacology, medical education, attachment theory, and bioethics.
In recent years, she has most enjoyed direct work with youth and families through clinical positions at Maine Medical Center Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry, MaineHealth Behavioral Health at Spring Harbor, and the Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders.
Drawn to the collaborative and family-centered model of care at Boston Child Study Center, Dr. Rockefeller approaches her roles as colleague and care provider with the openness and curiosity of a lifelong learner. She strives to deliver comprehensive psychoeducation, while partnering with children, adolescents, young adults, and families to understand their strengths and challenges and to optimize their therapeutic and, as needed, pharmacologic supports.
